Cultivating Confidence to express ideas with empathy and pride
While 73% of adults fear public speaking, CJDS students learn to share their ideas with confidence beginning in kindergarten.
Through intentional programming like our cross-grade buddy system, classroom ambassadors and regular presentation opportunities, children develop into natural leaders who can articulate their thoughts to both peers and adults.
Beyond public speaking, we foster deep interpersonal skills that last a lifetime. Our students learn to be both mentors and mentees, building genuine empathy and understanding across age groups. This carefully cultivated confidence and emotional intelligence prepares them to become thoughtful leaders who know they can create positive change.
