Your Child’s Holistic, Jewish Education Is Within Reach

As a dedicated community school, we strive to make holistic Jewish education available to all who want to learn and grow at CJDS.

With a nurturing campus and curriculum beyond traditional learning environments, your tuition makes it possible for us to serve the whole child with accelerated academics, confidence-boosting opportunities, emotional awareness, and a deep understanding of their personal identity.

We recognize that tuition represents a significant commitment, and we see that commitment as our responsibility to provide exceptional education.

Explore Tuition Assistance

Columbus Jewish Day School believes that our unique, integrated Jewish and general education should be available to all families.

Our tuition assistance program reflects this commitment to the Jewish community as we welcome a diverse group of qualified students, including those who would not otherwise be able to attend CJDS.

Families apply for financial aid through, FACTS, a confidential and unbiased third party. Applications, including tax documentation, are submitted online, directly to FACTS. Families are required to reapply for financial assistance each year and awards are based on a reevaluation of the family’s financial situation and demonstrated continued need.

EdChoice Scholarship

CJDS also accepts EdChoice scholarships. The Ohio EdChoice program provides scholarships to eligible students to attend participating private schools, based on either where they live or their family income.

OAIS Scholarship

The Ohio Association of Independent Schools SGO is a scholarship granting organization providing Ohio students the crucial funding they need to receive the best education possible. OAIS is committed to the quality education that independent schools provide to students from diverse backgrounds.

Our journey began with finding a house based on the ranking of the schools in the area, which led us to choose to live in New Albany. We arrived with uncertainty but were immediately impressed.

By chance, we heard about a Jewish school in the area. Initially, we hadn't planned to enroll our child there, as we weren't even aware of its existence. However, we decided to attend an initial meeting and we instantly fell in love. We realized that this was the perfect place for our child, both for a soft landing after a year of war in Israel and from what we experienced during our meeting with the educational staff.

Months later, we are completely convinced that it was the right choice. The warm attitude, educational support, variety of classes, and the ability to present the content of the studies in an engaging and experiential manner, rather than just monotonously, have all been exceptional. The combination of preserving Jewish values and the Hebrew language is incredibly important these days, especially in light of everything happening in the world for Jews. More than ever, it is essential to be proud of our Jewish identity.

I highly recommend the school and its educational staff. If you have the opportunity, or even if you don't, I encourage you to make an effort to send your child there.
